cornish holiday home at Trevean Farm

Our Cornwall holiday cottage at Trevean Farm is situated in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty

Our grassland farm is about 50 acres and extends to the sea shore where we have a small pebbly beach.

A few minutes walk to the west is the village of Perranuthnoe with a large sandy beach and a friendly pub serving good food.

To the east the coast path leads around Cudden Point to Prussia Cove with secluded beaches and wonderful panoramas across to The Lizard.

The cottage is one of three barns which we converted in 1991 and which won the Penwith Design Award for Building Conversion in 1992.

It consists of a conservatory dining area and a combined kitchen/living room on the ground floor. Upstairs there is a bedroom with en-suite bathroom.

Caroline and I live in the other two converted barns, which are adjacent.

spectacular views across Mount's Bay
The cottage and farm have the most spectacular views across Mount's Bay and of St Michael's Mount

The picture here was photographed from the bedroom window

The headland is Cudden Point - which with Penlee Point to the west creates the sheltered inner anchorage for shipping off Penzance & Nelwyn

The cottage can accommodate 4/5 people

Autumn - winter & spring can be wonderful times to visit West Cornwall.

The mild climate created by the Gulf Stream is contrasted by the 'sometimes' wildness of the sea and you get to meet the real people & culture of Cornwall
